Lions Club of Bombay Harbour, Saarthi Foundation and Bharat Vikas Parishad organized Anti tobacco awareness camp on the eve of World No Tobacco Day In association with Wockhardt Hospital.
Daara Patel, Past District Governor and Secretary General of IDMA inaugurated selfie point – the “QUIT” was the key word. This is to emphasize that people who are smokers or people who chew tobacco must QUIT for the development of every individual.
All members took pledge to support the Anti tobacco movement by signing on giant size Cigarettes.
Also presents were Dr. Havaewala, Shri Janak Sanghvi, ex corporator, Shri Dilip Maheshwari, a Social Worker.
The campaign was initiated by Mr. Umesh Thanawala, Chairman of Voice Against Tobacco.
The selfie point will be open upto 6 pm on WORLD NO TOBACCO DAY i. e. 31st May.
All the supporters are requested to visit Wockhardt Hospital, Mumbai Central.
